Hi All, I have this hardware on the mainboard and I need to use Mbit connection. Reverse Engineered nForce ethernet driver.
Hosting by Gossamer Threads Inc. I was reading this thread at nvnews forum, and they said that forcedeth driver supports Mbit.
There is no eth0 Where can I get the suitable driver? As far as I know, nvidia mcp77 ethernet is Ethfrnet, not Mbit, and uses forcedeth driver.

Thu Apr 14, 8: Read that thread and use “ethtool” to see if your network card has the Mbit mode. Download all attachments as: Changed 3 months ago by datafatmunger. Networking fails or drops ethfrnet couple minutes after boot.

The only 2 items plugged into USB are a keyboard and a mouse. Funny thing is I’m not booting from USB at all. Thanks for the reply. In fact I’m posting from a working installation. Download in other formats: Please, paste the result of “lspci -n”.
